about us
Davey & Peter are a New York-based children's music duo made up of Dave Klodowski and Peter Yang, a queer couple who, together, write, arrange, record and produce their own songs. Their latest album Shine Your Light (2024) features songs about individuality, self-love and whimsical adventure.
Before rebranding as a duo in 2024, they released music under the name Davey K. Their first album Things to Know (2021) originated from the closing track, "Things That Go," written for Dave's 2-year-old nephew who absolutely loves cars, trains, planes and everything in between. The songs on this album cover topics from the planets in our solar system to the creatures in our oceans. Their 2022 EP Fun Facts features 3 songs with 3-word titles. Their album Storytime (2023) is made up of 9 story-driven pop songs.
Davey & Peter wrote the theme song for the children's animated series Bronx Buds, streaming now on the YES app. Additionally, they have been featured on Ronnie Boy Kids' album Ronnie Boy Land and BenAnna Band's song "Marching Forward with Pride".
